![]() ![]() I'm the type of person who LOVES tan skin. I had never used a self tanner before until recently, I had used a Snooki brand which was sticky and washed off the next day and left horrible streaks and was just AWFUL and then I tried this brand because everyone said it was the best and now that I've tried it, I do agree completely. So I've used & have purchased almost every kind, from the most expensive to one's from Walmart! From Sally Hansen to Guerlain! But sadly I have to say, Fake Bake is the worst sunless tanner that I've ever tried! I always shave & exfoliate first, then I followed the direction's verbatim & I was very excited that they include the gloves & mit for your hand's! But the product applies like stain, it doesn't spread evenly because the glove soaks up the product before you can spread it from your ankle to your knee! So you have patches everywhere, from where you first touch your skin to wherever you end! Then if you go back over the lighter spots to try and even it out, it turns darker than the rest of your skin, so you continuously have patches everywhere! But if you get wet or shower the next morning, it almost completely washes off, except for the places that you originally started & it leaves light patches that makes you look like you have a skin disease or something! So you have to shave and exfoliate at least 2 or 3 days before it finally All goes away! So NO, I DON'T RECOMMEND IT and I only purchased it because of the eBay ratings for it! I ordered 2 bottles and tried both, so unless I just received an old or bad batch of it, I don't know? But for the same money, Sally Hansen's airbrush sunless mousse tanner is 1000 times better and I'LL NEVER PURCHASE FAKE BAKE EVER AGAIN!! Tan’s can appear green when reacting with lotions or perfumes already on the skin, so to avoid this just apply straight after a shower. ![]() Spray tans are expensive to get regularly when they only last around 5-7 days, however, why not try and do your own at home? You can buy mini spray tan spray guns for under £10 and they often come with the tanning solution in the same set! This ensures a perfect air brushed effect that looks as good as a natural tan!
